Kihei, Hawaii - Christian Cervantes Seacat, 51, of Kihei, Hawaii, passed away on December 27, 2025. Christian was

born May 9, 1974, in 9HQWXUD, California to the late Charles Martin Seacat (02/23/2010) and Maria

Louise Ortega Seacat (01/10/1981).

Christian was known for his loving, kind heart. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and

share all that he had. Christian was a great artist, musician and author among his many talents. He

was an avid golfer and had a life-long passion for fishing. If the San Francisco 49ers were playing, he

was watching, you could bet on that. He loved nature and all of God's creatures, especially his

snakes.

Christian grew up in Morgan Hill, California and graduated from Live Oak High School. He earned his

Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from San Francisco State University. He was a teacher for

many years, including working with special education students. He loved teaching and his students.

More recently, Christian was an employee of Maui Lawn & Landscape for over 11 years.

Christian is preceded in death by his loving parents and his sweet niece Sara Seacat.

Christian is survived by his three sons, Christian Hinoguin Seacat (22), Marley Hinoguin Seacat (20),

and Sione Pauta Seacat (11), and his wife, Susan Fowler Welch, all of Maui, Hawaii. His siblings:

Alysoun Seacat, Melaney Seacat, Andrew Seacat (Hui), Caroline Matsche, Charles Seacat (Erika),

and Bernard Heinan (Stephanie) and his stepmom Jackie Seacat. Nephews: Casey and Theodore.

Nieces: Julia, Natalie, Lilianna and Eleanor. As well as many other family members and good friends

that he considered family.

Christian leaves behind a legacy of love and comittment to family. A Celebration of Life will be

planned later in the year.
