Donald Hue Sing, 90 passed away in Wailuku on Easter Sunday.


He was born in Haiku, Maui and graduated from Lahainaluna High School.


Donald served in the U.S. Army Reserve from 1957 to 1966 and had a long career as a respected Mason.


He was was a caring, loving, generous man to all. He loved his family and would do anything for them. He was a great friend, brother, uncle, grandpa and the very best Dad. He enjoyed talking about the good old days, going to Las Vegas, fishing, picking limu and opihi's which he enjoyed transforming them into beautiful pieces that we will cherish.


He is preceded by his one love, Sarah Wilhelm Hue Sing, Parents Damien and Annie Yap Hue Sing, Brother Damien Jr. and Sister Eleanor Bell.


He is survived by his Daughters Michele (Kani) Curnan, Donnell Ruiz, Sons Donald Hue Sing, Dana (f ami) Hue Sing. Grandchildren Daniel, Kaeo (Zoe) Michael (Malia), Rachel (Hoku) Curnan, Sarah (Alan) Fern, Keoki Hue Sing, Rusty Hue Sing, Pono (Kayla) Hue Sing, Tihani Van Boekhout. Great Grandchildren, Noa, Kaeo, Kaiahua Fern, Cash, Matthew Curnan, Zenko, Seijin, Koda Hue Sing. Brother, Ernest (Nancy) Hue Sing and Sister, Leilani (Jim) Justice and many nieces and nephews.


Special Mahalo for their love and care to Jawaiian, Kuulei, Hoaka, Alii and to the Hospice Maui Staff that visited and cared for Dad, Janell, Shanell, AJ, Gloria, Sarah, Kathy and to the wonderful care team at Hospice Maui Hale.


Funeral Services will be held at Nakamura Mortuary, Wailuku on Friday May 15, 2026 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Burial will follow at 12:30 at Maui Memorial Park.
