La'akea Hokuokekai Armitage, 20 of Waiehu, Maui, transitioned to heaven on December 10, 2024, at his home surrounded by his 'Ohana. He was born on November 24, 2004.Services will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Ballard Mortuary. Public Visitation from 10am-11:30am. Services at 11:30am. Cremation following the service.La'akea was predeceased by his grandparents, James Voss, Robert 'Bobby' Armitage & Charmaine Armitage, Henry 'Hanalei' Scanlan, his aunties Wonda Rios & Romaine Armitage. He is survived by his parents: Shenelle U'ilani (Sam Te'o) and Chad Armitage, siblings: Kalena, Kaulana, Saletai, 'Ikena, U'ilani, Pono and Kamaehu; grandparents, Maile & Reginald Eaton, hanai grandparents Timothy & Shelley Teixeira and Gail 'Cookie' Scanlan, numerous aunties, uncles and cousins.
