Haiku, HI - With heavy hearts we announce, on March 22, 2025, our beloved Lawrence Alfredo Baisa Jr. went home with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Born April 24, 1969, on the Island of Maui, raised Upcountry in Haiku. He was proud to have attended Makawao Elementary where he made lifelong friends. He later attended Maui High School where he met his best friend and love of his life, Kuuipo, before graduating in 1987. A pivotal moment in his life was when he was told that he didn't have natural talent playing football but what he had was HEART! He was a natural born leader and an encouragement to all around him. He wasn't afraid to work hard.

In January of 1991, he married the love of his life, Kuuipo. In June of 1993 they welcomed their son Jonah and in 2001 they welcomed their daughter Shanna. It was in 2019 when he earned one of his greatest titles, Papa! Ace was born!

He was a journeyman electrician for over 30 years before following the calling on his life serving the Lord. He was honored to serve and lead the Armor Bearer ministry, work in the connect department along such amazing people and, pray for anyone who wanted or needed prayer. As a Pastor for King's Cathedral & Chapels, he embraced all that he was called to do. He was a true servant, always aware that it was not about himself and always about his Heavenly Fathers business.

He will be deeply and dearly missed by all who knew him and even those who he'd just met.

Lawrence is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 34 years, Earlette Kuuipo Baisa, his son Jonah Kaulanaokouinoaokalalani Baisa, his daughter Shanna Marie Anuhea Baisa and his beloved grandson Ace. Parents, Lawrence Sr and Edith Baisa, sister Leslie (Mark) LauHee, brother Richard (Dreena) Baisa, brother-in-law, Andrew Silva, sister-in-laws, Stephane Silva and Tina (Moki-predeceased) Silva. Numerus nephews and nieces, Aunties and Uncles, cousins and dear, dear friends.

A service will be held at King's Cathedral & Chapels on Saturday, April 26, 2025. Family visitation at 8am. Public visitation at 9am. service will begin at 10am and lunch and fellowship to follow in the church lobby.
