Kahului, Hawaii - Peter John Perez, 74, of Kihei passed away on Saturday April 5, 2025 in Wailuku.
Peter was born on December 9, 1950 in Honolulu. Son of the late Pedro Perez Sr. and Crispina Perez.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Amy Perez; daughter Tammie Perez (Ashley); grandchildren Tristan & Alexis; brothers, Pedro "Boy" Perez (Carmen "Nene"), Jimmy Perez, Darren Cambel, Gary Nanod and Michael Nanod (Yvette); sisters, Lucy Seladis, Mercy Nanod (Richard), Shirley Tanudra (Abe), Angie Perez, Helen Hannold (Richard), Debbie Nanod, Sharon Nanod, Donna Shaver (Bill) and Sandy Long (Mike).
Peter graduated from Lanai High School in 1969 and joined the U.S. Airforce after graduation. After the service he graduated from Maui Community Collage and worked for the hospitality industry until his retirement. He enjoyed playing basketball, fishing and diving in his free time.
Visitation and service will be held on April 30, 2025 at Nakamura Mortuary. Visitation will be 10:00-11:00am. Funeral services will begin at 11:00am. Inurnment will be at Makawao Veterans Cemetery on May 13, 2025 @ 10:30am.
