Portland, OR - Dr. Ron was a true country doctor who practiced in Pukalani for over 40-years. He was kind to everyone. He had a quirky sense of humor and a brilliant mind. He loved to play Bridge, golf, swim, travel, collect art and consume culinary delicacies. He was a peacemaker and he had a gentle heart but he didn't like to be hoodwinked. If patients couldn't pay; he would take sweet onions or lychee. Maui lost an enigmatic gentleman who never turned anyone away who needed help. He is undoubtedly playing Bridge with St. Peter right now. There will never be another Dr. Ronald Resnick.
